You can easily measure your bracelet size yourself. You only need 2 things for this:
- A ruler
- A bracelet that fits well around your wrist or tape measure to measure the circumference of your wrist
OPTION 1: MEASURE BRACELET SIZE WITH A BRACELET THAT ALREADY FITS
Do you already have a bracelet that fits well on your wrist? Great! Measure the length of this bracelet with a ruler. This number of centimeters is your bracelet size. For example, if the length of your bracelet is 20 cm, choose the bracelet size that comes closest to 20 cm.
OPTION 2: MEASURE BRACELET SIZE WITH A TAPE MEASURE
To determine your bracelet size, measure the circumference of your wrist. Hold your hand upright with the fingers pointing upwards and measure the circumference above the knuckle of your wrist (i.e. towards your fingers).
Note: your bracelet size is the circumference of your wrist + 2 cm.
For example, if the circumference of your wrist is 18 cm, then your bracelet size is 20 cm. Choose the bracelet size that comes closest to 20 cm.
CUFF BRACELETS
Our cuff bracelets have a fixed size of 7 cm and are not meant to be bent. This size fits wrists with a circumference of 18.5 to 22.5 cm. It’s important to always keep the bracelet in its original shape, even when putting it on or taking it off. Bending can create weak spots, which may cause the bracelet to break over time.
Check out the video and instructions below to see how to put on and take off your cuff bracelet without bending it.
HOW TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF A CUFF BRACELET
How to put it on:
- Orient the bracelet: Hold the bracelet with the opening facing your thumb.
- Place it on your wrist: Position one end of the cuff between the two bones on the underside of your wrist, on the soft area. Pay attention to the height: place it just above the protruding bone on the outer side of your wrist (the ulna, below the pinky side of your hand). This is where most wrists are the narrowest.
- Slide it gently into place: Rotate your wrist and the bracelet slightly and smoothly so the cuff slides over your wrist. Then, position it comfortably.
How to take it off:
- Rotate the opening: Turn the bracelet so that the opening faces the pinky side of your hand.
- Move to the narrowest point: Slide the bracelet towards the narrowest part of your wrist, just above the protruding bone on the outer side (the ulna). Position – just like when putting it on – one end of the cuff between the two bones on the underside of your wrist, on the soft area.
- Slide it off smoothly: Rotate your wrist and the bracelet slightly and smoothly, allowing it to glide off the side of your wrist without any pressure or bending.
Once again: do not bend the bracelet while putting it on or taking it off to avoid damage.
